Raja Yoga Meditation and Philosophy - Weekend Retreat
Day 1: Saturday 15th August from 10.00am to 12noon & 3.00pm to 4.30pm.
Day 2: Sunday 16th August from 10.00am to 12noon.
The name ‘Raja Yoga’ is derived from the Sanskrit word ‘raja’ meaning king or master. The philosophy and associated meditation practice teaches us how to become masters of our mind and senses. It frees us from conscious or subconscious subservience. The more we become free from dependency and subservience, the more we are able to re-experience our original nature of peace, happiness and compassion.
This retreat is an opportunity to explore the foundation aspects of this meditation practice and philosophy. There will be live sketch presentations, guided meditation practices as well as an opportunity for discussion and questions. Click here to register.
Reviving a Higher Consciousness - One week Sanjeevani Retreat
No problem can be solved from the same level of consciousness that created it. Albert Einstein
The aim of this retreat is to attempt to grasp that higher consciousness. Ordinarily we don't even know our highest potential, our higher consciousness is shut down.
The one week Sanjeevani retreat is about attempting to grasp this higher consciousness, and therefore reveal our highest potential. That is precisely the purpose of spirituality. We shall also see that spirituality and the higher consciousness is not the treasure of just a few, but is something that should help us all in our everyday lives. The course is set out in very clear and simple terms, with an emphasis on experience.
