About 

This one-day retreat provides an opportunity to consider the way we  lead our professional and personal lives, as well as considering  how we can sustain others, within an industry which is demanding and ever changing.

About the programme

This event is organised by a group of professionals who have been experimenting with various techniques for dealing with the challenges of working in an exciting and yet demanding profession.

A variety of methodologies—such as meditation experiments, panel discussions, PowerPoint presentations, workshops —will be used to create a diverse and rich learning experience.

The day will cover aspects such as:

- Self-Management
- Time Management
- Decision Making
- Managing the Expectations of Others
- Success Without Stress

The Team

Prashant at PiP

Dr. Prashant Kakoday

Prashant, based in Cambridge, has a background in surgery and integrated health. His main interest is in the relationship between the psyche, emotions, behaviour and health. He has spoken on these subjects in many countries and institutions, including the W.H.O. and the Medical Teaching Program in the U.S.A.

Vasanti Patel

Vasanti has been a student and teacher of Raja Yoga meditation for 20 years and is based at the national co-coordinating office in London. Her professional background is information technology that has enabled her to play a central role in the IT team, both nationally and internationally. Vasanti's shares in a practical and down to earth way from her own experience.

Heather

Heather Kara

An American with a background in software development, Heather moved to Cambridge 20 years ago for work in Silicon Fen.  It was here that she came across the Brahma Kumaris and took up a life-long study of Raj Yoga meditation.  For more than 15 years, she has been sharing what she's learned through workshops and classes both here and abroad.
